Job Title: Smokehouse Production Worker
Posting: #789
Location: Vanalman (751 Vanalman Ave)
Job Type: Part Time – 24-32 Hrs/week

We’re looking for a Smokehouse Production Worker to join our team. This hands-on role supports the creation of high quality, locally smoked items that are sold at all 8 of our Red Barn Market stores and various restaurants across the city. We will train you in all stages of our smokehouse facility from receiving products, cutting, trimming, mixing, and smoking. No experience necessary – just a great attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to quality, safety, and cleanliness.

Duties & Responsibilities

Operate Equipment: Operate and clean smokehouse machinery
Food Production: Prepare and process meat products
Packaging & Labeling: Ensure that all products are properly labeled and priced.
Food Safety: Ensure products meet quality and food safety standards
Maintenance: Perform routine equipment safety checks
Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications

Must have weekend availability (Friday - Monday)
Must be able to start at 7AM
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to work in a cold environment
Ability to work independently and with a team
Able to lift up to 50LBs
