Pump Service Technician

Vanden Bussche Irrigation & Equipment Ltd. – Delhi, On

With locations situated throughout Southern Ontario, including around the greater Toronto area (GTA). NOW HIRING: Pump Service Technician

Type of Employment: Full-Time

Location: Delhi, On

Responsibilities:

Performs diagnostics, trouble shooting and repairs on agricultural pumps/machinery and equipment as needed
Participates in required safety training programs
Perform repairs on equipment in shop and on customer sites when needed
Compete work orders accurately keeping track of time and materials used
Reviews and explains any maintenance, repair, or other service concerns directly with the customer and documents on work order
Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to perform repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment (all tools provided)
Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
High School Diploma or equivalent experience required
Valid driver’s license required
Previous fork lift experience/license considered an asset
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical engines
Good electrical skills considered an asset
Able to work independently and as a team member
Positive attitude, passionate, high energy and most importantly, a desire to learn

Hours of work

8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday – Thursday 8:00 - 4:00pm Fridays (occasional weekends based on season)

On-call overtime work as needed.

**Hours are subject to change during busy season (April-September)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$29.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
