Accounting Clerk – Vehicle Accounting

Schedule: Monday to Friday | Day Shift | On-site
As an Accounting Clerk – Vehicle Accounting, you'll review, reconcile, and post vehicle accounting transactions while supporting the daily accounting operations of one of Calgary's busiest Mazda dealerships. This role requires sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a high volume of work while consistently meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records and electronic files.
- Assist with daily reconciliations, bank deposits, and other accounting responsibilities.
- Support month-end closing procedures and financial reporting.
- Ensure vehicle accounting transactions are processed promptly while maintaining compliance with internal controls and accounting procedures.
- Provide administrative support to the accounting department as required.

Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or Business Administration, or equivalent accounting experience.
- 0–4 years of accounting experience or a recent accounting graduate.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial record keeping.
- Ability to identify discrepancies, investigate issues, and resolve them effectively.
- Experience with PBS or another dealership management system is considered an asset.
- Automotive dealership accounting experience is considered an asset but is not required.
