Job Description Summary
The Insurance Supervision Analyst is responsible for conducting pre/post-sale business reviews of select independent licensed insurance agents affiliated with World Financial Group Insurance Agency (WFGIA). Review client files to assess, track findings, detect, and mitigate company risk. Conduct branch audits in adherence to supervision and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

Conduct pre/post-sale insurance business reviews of select independent licensed insurance agents including new agents, special supervision agents, agents under investigation, etc.

Initiate, review, track, and provide reporting for client and agent file reviews in adherence with department policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Prepare reports that identify statistics, trends, and training opportunities for field agents.

Provide corrective coaching and training to agents for adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Escalate issues to management, as appropriate.

Assist in the development and implementation of training materials, such as bulletins and webinars.

Help identify opportunities to improve workflow processes and communications with the field.

Participate in department projects.

Perform periodic field branch audits to ensure adherence to business and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Post-secondary education in finance or business
Knowledge of WFGIA processes and procedures
Knowledge and application of life insurance industry concepts, practices, and principles
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
Bilingual or Multilingual – fluent (oral and written) in French, English, Punjabi to complete required job duties and to communicate with a diverse agent and employee base. Expected to complete most business transactions with WFGIA in English, as management located in Ontario and in the U.S. speak English for daily/frequent communications
Strong relationship management, customer/agent focus, and interpersonal skills
Excellent written/oral communication and presentation skills

The Salary for this position generally ranges between $64,000 - $75,000 CAD annually. Please note that the salary range is a good faith estimate for this position and actual starting pay is determined by several factors including qualifications, experience, geography, work location designation (in-office, hybrid, remote) and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
