Full job description

Carpenters’ Regional Council – Local 343 is currently seeking skilled carpenters in general carpentry and formwork in the Winnipeg Area.

The United Brotherhood of Carpenters (UBC) is a leader in training, education, and representation for the next generation of skilled construction professionals. We are committed to developing well-rounded tradespeople who not only excel in their craft but also demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills.

Available Positions & Rates

Foreperson – $50.60/hour
Lead Hand – $44.88/hour
Journeyperson – $42.88/hour
Fourth Year / Uncertified – $37.52/hour
Third Year Apprentice – $32.16/hour
Second Year Apprentice – $27.71/hour
First Year Apprentice – $24.02/hour

Site & Training Requirements

Applicants must provide a resume
Apprenticeship certificates/documents are considered an asset, if available
Working at Heights and Aerial Lift certifications are considered an asset
Candidates without required certifications must be willing to participate in training through the Local 343 training centre

Qualifications

Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
Reliable transportation to and from job sites
