We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in diagnosing and resolving vehicle issues efficiently. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while ensuring high-quality workmanship on all automotive services.

Duties

Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
Conduct routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, suspension work, engine work/replacement and transmission replacement.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and installations.
Work with automotive electrical systems, including troubleshooting wiring and electronic components.
Repair and maintain powertrain components, transmissions, and engines as needed.
Interpret schematics to assist in diagnosing complex mechanical problems.
Ensure proper alignment of vehicles to manufacturer specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician is required. (310s)
Dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
Proficiency in automotive diagnostics using modern diagnostic tools and software.
Ability to perform auto estimating for repair costs accurately.
Knowledge of welding techniques is beneficial for certain repairs.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
