About the Role:
We are seeking a Site Supervisor/ Foreman to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced carpenter who can also lead job sites, coordinate crews, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard of quality.
*Pay will be based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Carpentry Duties
- Perform residential and/or commercial carpentry work (framing, finishing, renovations, repairs)
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Measure, cut, and install materials accurately
- Ensure workmanship meets company and building code standards
Site Supervision Duties
- Supervise daily job site activities and trades
- Coordinate schedules, materials, and deliveries
- Ensure safety procedures and company policies are followed
- Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and management
- Monitor project progress and report issues or delays
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
Qualifications
- Minimum [X] years of carpentry experience
- Journeyman Carpenter certification
- Previous site supervision or lead hand experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction methods and building codes
- Ability to read blueprints and plans
- Leadership and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
Assets (Nice to Have)
- First Aid / Safety certifications (e.g., WHMIS, Fall Protection)
- Experience managing multiple projects
