Overview
We are seeking an experienced Audio Visual Technical BD /Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate has pride in their work, loves to be team player and enjoys sharing new technologies and AV solutions to their clients.
Responsibilities (not all are required but experience in each is a plus)
- Generate business from old and new customers by providing industry knowledge and AV solutions.
- Engage client and initiate client meetings and events.
- Follow up with clients to bring projects in
- Drive around GTA area to pick up leads if necessary
- Cold call potential clients (builders, designers, project managers) when needed
- Read and interpret schematics and project drawings.
- Provide solutions for clients on below:
How we install TVs, video walls, projectors and projector screens.
How we install AV racks, terminate patch panels and perform proper cable management.
How we install Low Voltage Lighting Solutions such as Lutron, Crestron and Savant.
How we install various audio solutions, speakers and amplifiers.
How we install, program and troubleshoot Security Cameras solution.
How we install, program and troubleshoot security systems (DSC NEO and ELK).
Skills
- Proficient in Business Developer in AV industry, with existing AV resources;
- Ability to complete administration work such as organizing the leads into the company system and follow up, take notes, arrange meetings and other duties;
- Preferred skills in software troubleshooting related to audio visual technologies.
- Familiarity with computer software (office suite), and/or hardware relevant to AV setups.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
- Ability to telecommunicate effectively when coordinating remote support or troubleshooting.
