Position Overview:

As a Senior Project Coordinator, you will support the day-to-day execution of a large, complex infrastructure project by working closely with construction leads, superintendents, engineers, and field teams. This role is responsible for coordinating project activities, tracking progress and procurement, and ensuring communication flows effectively across multiple disciplines and project partners. The successful candidate will help ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project schedules and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate day-to-day construction activities across building, civil, and structural scopes, working closely with construction leads, superintendents, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Support project execution by tracking progress, procurement activities, inspections, and key milestones while ensuring alignment with project schedules and objectives.
- Assist with project controls, including updating budgets, cost reports, billing schedules, change orders, and other financial documentation under the direction of the Project Manager.
- Manage project documentation, including RFIs, shop drawings, submittals, approvals, and technical information required from subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.
- Support schedule management by maintaining project schedules, reviewing subcontractor progress, monitoring productivity, and ensuring alignment with superintendent look-ahead plans.
- Coordinate subcontractor activities, including progress meetings, contract requirements, payment processes, performance tracking, and issue resolution.
- Collaborate with safety, quality, engineering, and project management teams to ensure work meets project requirements, company standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Identify potential project risks, delays, and issues while working with the project team to develop timely solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders within a complex multidisciplinary project environment.
Must Have Qualifications:
- 4+ years of construction project coordination experience with a general contractor.
- Post-secondary education in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience supporting commercial building, civil, and/or structural construction projects.
Like To Have Qualifications:
- Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure or major projects.
- Experience with construction project management software such as P6, InEight, Viewpoint, or similar platforms.
