We are seeking a friendly and professional Live Catering Attendant to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Responsibilities
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and efficient manner during catering events
- Set up and break down catering stations, ensuring all equipment and supplies are organized and presentable
- Assist with food preparation, presentation, and replenishment as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of service areas according to food safety standards
- Engage with guests professionally, addressing inquiries and ensuring a positive experience
- Handle food items carefully, adhering to proper food handling protocols
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service delivery and smooth event operations
- Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food safety procedures and guest interaction protocols
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, especially in hospitality or food service roles
- Experience in guest services or customer service roles enhances the ability to engage positively with guests
- Hotel or event catering experience is a plus
- Knowledge of food handling, serving techniques, and basic food preparation is desirable
- Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is essential for maintaining high-quality service standards
