We are currently hiring a Plastic Bag Machine Operator for a manufacturing company located in Etobicoke. The ideal candidate must have previous experience operating plastic bag manufacturing machines and be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor plastic bag manufacturing machines
- Set up machines and perform minor adjustments as needed
- Ensure production runs efficiently and meets quality standards
- Inspect finished products for defects and quality issues
- Load raw materials into machines
- Maintain cleanliness of machines and work area
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies
- Report machine malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisors
Requirements
- Previous experience as a machine operator is required
- Experience in plastic bag manufacturing preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Physically able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Basic English communication skills
