Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with various construction projects, supporting skilled tradespeople and ensuring the smooth progress of building activities. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry while contributing to the completion of diverse projects. Duties
- Assist with site preparation, including unloading materials and setting up equipment
- Carry out manual tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving construction materials
- Support carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople in their daily activities
- Maintain a clean and organized work site to promote safety and efficiency
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
- Assist with loading and unloading supplies and equipment as needed
- Help with demolition or removal of debris from work areas
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction or manual labor is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Basic understanding of safety procedures on construction sites
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and adapt to changing priorities
- Must be at least 18 years old and capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions
