Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Front Store Manager to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will support the store management team in overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth. Your leadership will help foster a welcoming environment while maintaining operational excellence and team engagement.
Responsibilities
- Assist in supervising daily store operations, including merchandising, pricing, and inventory management
- Support team management by training, coaching, and motivating staff to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service
- Oversee cashiering and POS (Point of Sale) transactions to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Manage store merchandising standards to optimize product presentation and availability
- Handle purchasing activities and coordinate with suppliers for stock replenishment
- Monitor cash handling procedures, payroll processing, and bookkeeping tasks with precision
- Contribute to marketing initiatives and promotional activities to enhance store visibility and sales performance
Requirements
- Proven supervising or retail management experience with strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills in both English and bilingual capabilities (if applicable)
- Demonstrated proficiency in negotiation, sales management, and customer service excellence
- Familiarity with POS systems, merchandising strategies, and retail sales processes
- Ability to manage budgets, perform basic math calculations, and handle cash accurately
- Strong organizational skills with effective time management and multitasking abilities
- Experience in recruiting, training & development, interviewing, and team building is highly desirable
- Knowledge of payroll processing, purchasing procedures, marketing strategies, and administrative tasks is a plus
- Multilingual skills are an advantage for engaging diverse customer bases
