About the position:
We are looking for a coach to start as part-time and then grow into a full-time position with a growth mindset is required at all times.
We believe that the best way to make a career out of being a coach is through a combination of personal training, group classes, and taking on responsibilities outside of coaching like programming, events, social media, etc. A part-time coach will commit approximately 10 hours/week on shadowing and coaching on the floor, and a full-time coach will commit approximately 20-25 hours/week coaching on the floor.
Minimum Requirements:
- Recognized Personal Training Certification or CrossFit/Functional Fitness Experience

- Lives locally or can easily relocate
Key Responsibilities:
- Coach all scheduled group classes (4-6 per week, to start)
- Coach personal training sessions for 5-15 hours per week
- Perform new client consultations and intake sessions
- Actively manage and retain clients memberships via our Coach for Life system
- Attend networking functions within Vernon
- Attend and actively participate in weekly coach’s meetings and coach’s development sessions, and Forge events
- Never ending pursuit of coaching excellence via continued education, coach’s development sessions, and 1-on-1 coach’s evaluations.
- Participate (as a member) in Forge Valley Fitness group classes.
Compensation and Benefits:
*This is a performance based position paid via commission (%) of retained membership fees, personal training sessions and programming packages*
- Income potential: $20,000-$50,000+ (increase with growth)
- Paid vacation and sick time via class trades
- All retail and supplements at our wholesale cost
- Continuing Education credit of 50% on approved courses upon completion
