Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Salesperson to join our team. This role involves engaging with customers, demonstrating products, and providing exceptional service to enhance the shopping experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be organized, and have a passion for retail sales and technology products. Bilingual abilities and experience in merchandising or technical sales are highly valued. This position offers an opportunity to develop sales expertise in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to customers
- Provide personalized recommendations to meet customer needs and upsell products
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure attractive product displays
- Keep the sales floor organized and stocked with merchandise
- Assist customers with product inquiries via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Support inventory management, including stock replenishment and product organization
- Utilize organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Ensure excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and providing a positive shopping experience
Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in technology or related products
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems, cashiering, and basic math for transactions
- Experience with merchandising, product demos, and upselling techniques
- Excellent organizational skills and time management to handle multiple responsibilities effectively
- Ability to work well in a team environment with good phone etiquette
- Technical sales experience or familiarity with technology products is advantageous
- Multilingual skills are desirable for serving diverse customer bases
- A professional attitude with strong customer service skills to build lasting client relationships
Pay: $17.60-$28.35 per hour
