About the Role
We're looking for an enthusiastic and dependable Farmers Market Sales Representative / Brand Ambassador to join our team 1–3 days per week. If you enjoy engaging with people, thrive in an outdoor environment, and love supporting local businesses, this could be the perfect role for you.
As the face of Gingeraki at farmers markets throughout the Vancouver area, you'll introduce customers to our products, share our story, educate them about the benefits of ginger and turmeric, and deliver an exceptional shopping experience.
What You'll Do
- Set up and pack down our farmers market booth.
- Welcome customers with a friendly, positive attitude.
- Share the Gingeraki story and introduce our products.
- Educate customers about the wellness benefits of our ginger and turmeric juices.
- Process cash and card transactions using the Square point-of-sale system.
- Keep the booth clean, organized, fully stocked, and visually inviting.
- Represent the Gingeraki brand with professionalism, energy, and enthusiasm.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in retail, sales, customer service, or hospitality.
- Comfortable handling cash and electronic payments (Square experience is an asset, but we'll provide training).
- Friendly, outgoing, and confident interacting with customers.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Passionate about health, wellness, local food, and supporting small businesses.
- Available to work weekends and occasional weekday markets.
- Able to lift and carry market equipment and products as needed.
