We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Campground Manager to oversee operations at our campground, at the top of Pasqua Lake / Echo Valley.
As the Campground Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the grounds, as well as ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable experience for all guests. You will be provided room and board on-site as a benefit of your employment.
The starting date for this position is immediate, upon passing a criminal background check and receipt and acceptance of a job offer.
Key Responsibilities:
-Assist with maintenance and upkeep of the property.
-Manage day-to-day operations of a 180-site campground.
-Ensure facilities are maintained to high standards of cleanliness and functionality.
-Oversee campground reservations and guest services.
-Implement campground policies and procedures to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
-Supervise campground staff and coordinate work assignments as needed.
Qualifications:
-Prior organizational / management experience.
-Strong leadership skills.
-Ability to work independently and take initiative.
-Ability to operate small vehicles and equipment, such as ATVs, lawnmowers, skid steers, and small tools (including weed sprayers, lawn care tools, etc.).
-Ability to learn and monitor pool chemicals on a daily basis and a general knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing to identify issues when they arise
-Identify tasks and foresee potential problems / areas of work that need to be addressed.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Willingness to assist with this new endeavour, including maintenance, customer service, etc.
