General Job Overview
The Warehouse Coordinator & Associate is responsible for assisting the Office Manager and Sales Team with administrative support in the distribution centre which services all of Canada and parts of the United States as well. This can include maintaining document control in the warehouse, facilitating secondary checks of picked orders, troubleshooting picking discrepancies, and updating tracking for outbound orders.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure shipping documentation is accurately processed, verified, and sent with each order.
- Verify with Office Manager or Sales Team any changes to orders.
- Secondary checks of outgoing orders to ensure proper picking and packing.
- Sending emails to Sales Team on high priority outbound orders.
- Assist the Operations Team to help troubleshoot reoccurring inventory shortages.
- Picking and Packing orders to be shipped out daily.
- Help maintain the timely flow outgoing orders in the warehouse.
- Assist the distribution team in keeping the warehouse clean and organized.
Experience:
- 1-2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a logistics or warehouse environment
- High school Diploma
- Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems are considered an asset
- Forklift/Reach Truck license and experience as asset
- Ability to read and comprehend procedures and instructions in English
