Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team for the summer. The successful candidate will assist with a variety of labour, maintenance, and operational tasks while supporting day-to-day activities in a safe and efficient manner. This position requires a strong work ethic, the ability to perform physically demanding work, and a commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship. Previous labour experience is considered an asset; however, training may be provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials or equipment as directed
- Perform general site cleanup and maintain a safe, organized work environment
- Support team members with tasks and preparations within established timelines and quality standards.
- Operate manual tools and machinery safely and efficiently
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies at all times
- Assist in setting up work areas for specific projects or tasks
- Participate in routine inspections and report any safety hazards or issues promptly
Experience
- Prior experience in manual labour or construction is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks consistently and safely
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and reliability
- Basic understanding of safety procedures in a work environment
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team environment
