Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Bartender to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food and beverage service. This role involves taking orders, serving food and drinks, and creating a welcoming environment for guests. Prior experience with POS systems is preferred, along with a solid understanding of food safety and handling procedures. The Server/Bartender will play a key role in ensuring guests have an enjoyable dining experience through attentive service, effective time management, and professional conduct.
Responsibilities
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests using POS systems like Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of hospitality
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Ensure all food safety and food handling protocols are followed to maintain hygiene standards
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and courteously
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining area, adhering to health regulations
- Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar area before and after shifts
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously with effective time management skills
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Follow all restaurant policies regarding serving alcohol responsibly
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Familiarity with POS systemsplatforms is advantageous
- Strong customer service background with excellent communication skills
- Basic math skills for handling bills, making change, and managing cash register operations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in hospitality environments demonstrating professionalism and teamwork
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $17.20-$18.20 per hour
