We are seeking a skilled Licensed Sheet Metal Worker to join our team. This role involves the fabrication, assembly, and installation of sheet metal components and structures in accordance with engineering drawings and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal products.
- Interpret and work from mechanical drawings and blueprints.
- Operate equipment such as shears, brakes, rolls, punches, and cutting tools.
- Measure, mark, and layout sheet metal to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Perform fitting, forming, and assembly of metal components and structures.
- Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards.
- Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and team members to resolve fabrication challenges.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
- Licensed sheet metal worker.
- Experience in commercial and industrial sheet metal installation.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
- Experience operating standard sheet metal shop equipment and tools.
- Solid understanding of fabrication processes including cutting, forming, bending, and assembly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
