We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Logging Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle various driving conditions.
Duties
- Operate commercial vehicles to transport logs to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving, ensuring the safety of yourself and others on the road.
- Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation is beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in automotive repair situations.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while on the road.

We pay at an hourly rate based on drive time with time and a half after 8 and double time after 12.
