Overview
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop hands-on skills across various aspects of construction projects, including restoration, carpentry, and installation work. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, physically capable, and comfortable working in diverse environments. Prior construction experience is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided for the right candidate. This position is essential in supporting skilled trades and ensuring project completion efficiently and safely.
Duties
- Assist with the use of hand tools and power tools for various construction tasks
- Support carpentry activities such as framing, drywall installation, and finishing
- Perform caulking, painting, flooring installation, tile laying, and other finishing tasks
- Help with material handling, including moving supplies and equipment around the job site
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment
- Support team members in executing construction activities efficiently and accurately
Experience
- Prior experience with hand tools and basic construction tasks is a plus but not required
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, or technical drawings is advantageous
- Experience in carpentry, painting, plumbing, flooring installation, or tile laying is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills on the job
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately

Upon 2 month evaluation continued employment may be offer and wage increase as warranted by performance.
