Jophrey Cleaning Services is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Cleaner to join our growing team.
We provide professional residential cleaning services throughout Halifax, Dartmouth, Bedford, and surrounding areas. Our goal is to deliver exceptional cleaning results while creating a positive experience for every client.
The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, and takes pride in maintaining clean, organized, and welcoming homes. Previous cleaning experience is an asset but not required. We are willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met.
- Clean kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas according to company standards.
- Follow client-specific cleaning instructions and checklists.
- Utilize cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively to maintain high cleaning standards.
- Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, steam cleaners, and other tools safely and effectively.
- Perform deep-cleaning tasks and special cleaning projects as required.
- Perform physical cleaning duties including bending, standing, lifting, and carrying cleaning supplies throughout the workday.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock levels are low.
- Ensure all areas are cleaned according to schedule and quality standards while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding work progress or issues encountered.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any specific cleaning requests or concerns from clients or staff.
- Travel between client locations as required.
Qualifications
- Previous residential cleaning, housekeeping, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience is an asset but not required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards
- Excellent time management skills and ability to complete tasks efficiently
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the workday
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures, products, and equipment is an asset
- Professional, dependable, and punctual
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
