MAXIM Mechanical Group Inc. is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Sheet Metal Subcontractor to support our growing portfolio of commercial and industrial projects throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
We are looking for a reliable subcontractor with a skilled installation crew who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship, maintaining a safe job site, and completing projects on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Install commercial and industrial HVAC ductwork and sheet metal systems.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.
- Coordinate installations with project managers and other trades.
- Complete accurate sheet metal take-offs from mechanical drawings.
- Supply the tools and equipment required to complete installations.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Deliver high-quality workmanship while meeting project schedules.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of commercial HVAC ductwork installation experience.
- Proven experience leading or working with a skilled installation crew.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints.
- Experience completing sheet metal take-offs.
- Own tools, equipment, and transportation required for commercial HVAC installations.
- Valid Ontario Driver's Licence.
- Current safety certifications (Working at Heights, WHMIS, etc.).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to quality workmanship and job site safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- TSSA G2 or G3 Gas Technician Licence.
- 308A Sheet Metal Worker Licence.
- Experience with commercial and industrial gas piping installations.
