Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Laborer/Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial concrete sidewalks and curbs or residential pads. We are currently seeking workers for our large commercial projects.
As a Concrete Laborer, you will be responsible for various tasks related to stringline and curb machine setup, finising behind a curb machine, as well as prep, pouring, and finishing of concrete curb and sidewalks by hand. This role requires the willingness to learn, physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members on-site.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation of job sites by assisting and/or operating heavy equipment, including removal, gravel prep, and backfilling certain jobsites.
- Concrete forming, including setting up forms for sidewalks, curbs, pads, or stringline for slipform machine.
- Placing and finishing concrete such as raking, screeding, floating, brooming, stamping, etc.
Requirements
- Proven experience in concrete forming, finishing, or related construction tasks is a must.
- Experience working with/around a concrete slipform machine is a plus.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus.
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to reaching the same goal as the rest of the team.
- Willingness to learn new skills if experience is limited in some fields.

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
