Tutti Matti, Chef Alida Solomon's award-winning Tuscan trattoria in downtown Toronto, is seeking an experienced Prep Cook / Pizza Maker to join our kitchen team.
We are looking for a reliable, organized, and skilled cook with strong prep fundamentals and hands-on pizza-making experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with quality ingredients, takes pride in consistency, and thrives in a collaborative kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute daily prep to Tutti Matti standards
- Prepare vegetables, sauces, proteins, stocks, and other mise en place
- Prepare, stretch, top, and cook pizzas consistently and efficiently
- Monitor dough quality and follow established pizza preparation procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workstation
- Support service as needed and assist with kitchen closing duties
- Communicate effectively with chefs and fellow team members
- Contribute positively to a respectful and team-oriented kitchen culture
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of professional kitchen experience
- Previous pizza-making experience is required
- Experience stretching dough and working a pizza station in a professional environment
- Strong knife skills and prep experience
- Ability to work cleanly, efficiently, and consistently under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Food Handler Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation to downtown Toronto
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Schedule
