Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Food Safety Manager to oversee and enhance our food safety programs within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong analysis skills, extensive knowledge of quality control, and experience in quality assurance and management. This role is vital in ensuring that our products meet the highest safety standards, comply with regulatory requirements, and uphold our company's commitment to excellence in food safety. The Food Safety Manager will lead initiatives related to QA/QC, project management, and continuous improvement of safety protocols across all manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive food safety policies and procedures aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead quality control and quality inspection activities to ensure products meet safety and quality specifications.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards or deviations from safety protocols.
- Analyze data related to food safety metrics, incident reports, and inspection results to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Manage and coordinate food safety projects, including training programs, process improvements, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as manufacturing, quality assurance, and production to ensure compliance throughout the supply chain.
- Oversee documentation processes for food safety records, reports, and certifications.
- Stay current with industry regulations, emerging trends, and best practices in food safety management.
Requirements
- Advanced HACCP Certification and SQF Certification
- Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on quality control, quality assurance, or food safety management.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets related to QA/QC metrics.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards such as FSMA, HACCP, GMPs, and other relevant certifications.
- Experience in project management with the ability to lead initiatives from conception through execution.
- Excellent communication skills for training staff and collaborating across departments.
- Familiarity with quality inspection techniques and quality management systems.
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Work schedule:
- Full-time: Mondays to Fridays
- Mornings, Days, evenings shifts or night shifts on weekdays and weekends.
- Daily shift end times for associates vary based on production needs.
Pay: $36.05-$38.46 per hour
