Industrial Maintenance Supervisor - Oxford, NS
Our client is a growing organization with a strong presence in Atlantic Canada and the United States. With multiple manufacturing facilities and farming operations, they are a leading producer of premium food products, including frozen vegetables and specialty items.
Our client is currently looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join their production team in Oxford, NS. This role reports directly to the Maintenance Manager and plays a key role in planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance tasks across the organization.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance of fleet equipment, including forklifts, shunt trucks, trailers, and tractors.
- Manage warehouse storage systems, such as industrial racking and automated shuttles.
- Handle building maintenance, including interior floors, structural components, and roofs.
- Maintain and repair food processing equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Identify opportunities to improve team members’ technical skills through coaching and performance guidance.

Qualifications
- Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, preferably in food production.
- Experience in a supervisory or management role.
- Degree or certification in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Red Seal Industrial Maintenance/Millwright, or related field an asset.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, including WHMIS, HACCP, and LOTO.
- Proficiency in CMMS software and experience tracking key metrics like MTBF, MTTR, and OEE.
- Familiarity with predictive maintenance tools and data analysis to identify equipment issues.
- Experience with mechanical systems (e.g., pumps, conveyors, gearboxes) and frameworks like RCM and TPM.
