One of our clients is seeking experienced and skilled CWB-certified MIG or FCAW welders for a full-time opportunity in Guelph. The successful candidate will be responsible for fitting, fabricating, and welding custom steel products while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG (GMAW), FCAW, and/or SMAW welding.
- Read and interpret blueprints and welding drawings.
- Fit and fabricate steel components.
- Inspect completed welds for quality.
- Operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely.
- Follow all safety and production requirements.
Qualifications:
- Valid CWB certification.
- Experience with MIG (GMAW), FCAW, and/or SMAW welding.
- Experience operating overhead cranes and forklifts.
- Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
- Experience with custom fabrication and engineered steel products is an asset.
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
