Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Counter Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our food service operation, providing excellent customer service while assisting with food preparation, cash handling, and maintaining a clean and sanitary environment. Your ability to manage time effectively and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting will be essential to your success.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their dining experience.
- Assist in food preparation and ensure that all food items are handled according to safety and sanitation standards.
- Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions accurately, and maintain records of sales.
- Sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment regularly to uphold health and safety regulations.
- Help maintain inventory levels by restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service and address any customer inquiries or concerns.
- Follow all food handling procedures to guarantee the quality and safety of food products.
- Manage time efficiently to ensure prompt service during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Basic knowledge of cash handling procedures and experience with cashiering is a plus.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food preparation techniques and safety standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
