Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, promote oral health education, and work collaboratively with our dental team to ensure a positive patient experience. Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take and develop dental radiographs as needed for diagnosis and treatment planning
- Conduct oral health assessments and document findings accurately in the patient’s record
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure all dental instruments are properly sanitized
- Manage patient scheduling, follow-up appointments, and patient records with attention to detail
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions and concerns professionally
Skills
- Proficiency with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively communicate with a diverse patient base
- Experience in dental assisting or working within a busy dental office environment
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care
- Excellent customer service skills with a compassionate approach to patient interaction
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting

Pay: $38.32-$61.32 per hour
