Duties
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, determining their service needs.
- Document customer concerns and vehicle issues accurately for the service team.
- Provide detailed explanations of repair services, including necessary maintenance and potential upselling opportunities.
- Collaborate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of services.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of payments.
- Follow up with customers regarding service status and ensure they are informed throughout the process.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to facility policies and procedures.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role within the automotive/diesel industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to effectively communicate technical information to customers.
- Proven sales skills with the ability to upsell services based on customer needs.
- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating patience and professionalism in all interactions.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures is essential.
- A background in automotive and diesel repair is highly desirable.
