Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Site Supervisor to join our construction management team. This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in construction and supervisory experience to contribute to the successful execution of projects. The Assistant Site Supervisor will support project managers in overseeing daily operations, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining safety protocols on-site. Responsibilities
- Assist the Site Supervisor in coordinating daily construction activities to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget
- Supervise on-site personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain productivity and adherence to safety standards
- Review project plans, blueprints, schematics, and construction estimates to support accurate execution of work
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and Primavera P6 for project documentation, scheduling, and reporting
- Conduct quality control inspections to verify work meets specifications and industry standards
- Support budgeting processes by tracking costs and managing resource allocation effectively
- Monitor progress on-site, identify potential issues early, and implement corrective actions as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times
- Collaborate with project teams to facilitate communication between stakeholders and resolve on-site challenges promptly
Skills
- Proven experience in supervising construction projects or site operations
- Strong knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, and other relevant tools
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction estimating documents
- Excellent understanding of quality control procedures and safety protocols in a construction setting
- Effective budgeting skills with experience managing project costs and resources
- Demonstrated ability to supervise teams, coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously, and maintain attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for clear collaboration with team members, clients, and vendors
- Knowledge of construction industry standards, regulations, and best practices
