Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Kerala Restaurant Server to provide exceptional guest service in a vibrant dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality skills, food handling knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, handling payments, and ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. Prior experience in food service and familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS are preferred. The server will play a key role in maintaining sanitation standards and supporting overall restaurant operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, including cashiering duties
- Ensure proper food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times
- Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing questions, special requests, and concerns
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen tasks as needed to support team operations
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, utensils, and service stations
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation standards
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for cash handling and billing purposes
- Experience with food industry operations including serving, upselling, and cashiering is desirable
- Kitchen experience or food preparation knowledge is a plus but not required

Pay: $17.20-$22.00 per hour
