Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced House Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our hospitality or food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant or hotel management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards, managing guest interactions, and maintaining smooth operational flow to uphold our commitment to excellence.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant or hotel operations, ensuring high standards of service and efficiency
- Manage team members through, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Handle cash transactions using Micros POS or similar systems with accuracy and integrity
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hospitality industry standards
- Assist in supervising food service activities including serving guests, bar activities
- Address guest concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues effectively
- Lead by example in hospitality best practices, fostering a positive team environment
- Monitor cleanliness, safety protocols, and overall facility maintenance
Experience
- Proven supervising experience within the food industry or restaurant management roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or comparable platforms
- Experience in team management, interviewing potential staff, and overseeing restaurant or hotel operations
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
- Previous roles involving food handling, serving, kitchen operations, or barista experience are highly desirable
- Background in hotel or restaurant environments is preferred; hospitality leadership experience is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
