Position Summary
This position is responsible for the delivery and installation of countertops to client homes, including the installation of other fixtures. This position is a key customer service role.
Colonial Countertops provides company vehicle, fuel and all required tools.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Transport countertops to specified job sites
- Check tops sizes and quality before leaving shop
- Ensure customer’s site is not damaged
- Install countertops efficiently and professionally, making sure that all seams are tight and fixtures are properly installed
- Ensure things are cleaned up well after the installation
- Troubleshoot and resolve installation issues as required
- Provide the customer with a great service experience
- Work in a safe manner that complies with all safety guidelines
- Contribute to team effort and completes other duties as required or assigned.
Qualifications
- Experience in a Stone Countertops Installation position or similar an asset
- Knowledge of the construction industry an asset
- Good communication skills
- Customer service experience an asset
- Ability to learn and retain information, multi-task and work under pressure in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to lift 85 lbs. +
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
