Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, hands-on experience with various tools, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle issues to ensure customer safety and satisfaction. Prior dealership experience is preferred, but not required, for candidates with solid mechanical knowledge and mechanic experience. Responsibilities
- Diagnose vehicle problems accurately using mechanical knowledge and diagnostic tools
- Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, brakes, transmissions, and electrical components
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs efficiently
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used
- Assist with vehicle inspections and test drives as needed
- Work with team members to ensure timely completion of service orders
Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience
- 2 years to less than 3 years
