Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Farm Hand to join our agricultural team. This role involves supporting daily farm operations, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the smooth running of farm activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a passion for farming and outdoor work. Prior experience with farm machinery, horticulture, or irrigation systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop hands-on skills in agriculture and farm maintenance.
Duties
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and power tools safely and efficiently
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including cleaning, repairs, and inspections
- Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution across fields
- Use hand tools for various tasks such as pruning, planting, and repairs
- Support livestock care if applicable, including feeding and cleaning facilities
- Assist with heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, or harvested crops as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
- Support general farm upkeep including fencing, landscaping, and minor construction projects
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintaining farm equipment
- Experience with irrigation systems and horticultural practices
- Ability to operate heavy machinery and farm equipment safely
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures for tools and machinery
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools for various tasks
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to planting or harvesting schedules
- Physical strength for heavy lifting and prolonged outdoor activity in various weather conditions

Pay: $25.00-$26.00 per hour
