Job Overview
The Engineering team is seeking a highly skilled ThreatLocker Specialist to support endpoint security operations and application control initiatives. This role is focused on ensuring endpoint environments remain both secure and operationally efficient for engineering users by managing ThreatLocker policies, application allowlisting, and endpoint control processes.
The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise in ThreatLocker administration, endpoint application control, and policy governance within enterprise environments.
Responsibilities
- Administer and support the ThreatLocker platform across enterprise endpoint environments
- Triage and resolve blocked applications, scripts, DLLs, and installers impacting engineering productivity
- Manage application allowlisting, Learning Mode configurations, and temporary exception requests
- Maintain and enforce Ringfencing policies and endpoint security standards
- Monitor and optimize endpoint application control policies to balance security and usability
- Track and report on service metrics, operational KPIs, and policy effectiveness
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and operations teams to support secure software execution workflows
- Troubleshoot endpoint policy and application execution issues in a timely manner
- Document operational procedures, exceptions, and policy changes
Qualifications Must-Have Skills
- Strong hands-on experience as a ThreatLocker Administrator
- Experience with endpoint application control and allowlisting technologies
- Strong understanding of:
- DLL, script, and installer allowlisting
- Learning Mode and policy management
- Ringfencing policies and endpoint security controls
- Experience triaging blocked applications and managing temporary policy exceptions
- Ability to track and report on service metrics and operational effectiveness
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills in enterprise support environments
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience supporting engineering or high-performance computing environments
- Familiarity with endpoint security operations and governance frameworks
- Experience working in large enterprises or manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of security compliance and operational best practices
