Role Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of electrical systems and materials under supervision
- Support site preparation and handle tools and materials as required
- Learn and apply electrical codes, standards, and safety requirements
- Assist with troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance tasks
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow direction from journeypersons and forepersons to complete assigned tasks
- Participate in and complete apprenticeship training requirements
- Report safety concerns and support safe work practices on site
Required Professional Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
- 1–2 years of related experience or entry-level exposure to electrical work
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Enrollment in or eligibility for an electrical apprenticeship program
- Apprentice Electrician certification or registration required
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and tools
- Strong willingness to learn and develop trade skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment
- Good work ethic and reliability
- Safety awareness and commitment to safe work practices
