Job Overview
The Senior Organizational Development Consultant is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating strategies and programs that enhance organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and overall performance. The incumbent partners with leadership and cross-functional teams to assess organizational needs, drive change initiatives, and develop programs that align people, processes, and culture with the organization's strategic goals. This role is a blend of strategy, consultation, and execution.
Role

In partnership with the Director, Organizational Development; executes the roll out of substantial, enterprise-wide organizational development projects. Examples of projects could include: Onboarding Redesign, Employee Listening Strategies, Great Place to Work, Succession Planning, Leadership Blueprints, Values Projects, Tuition Programming, Engagement Tools and Systems (Achievers), Wellness Initiatives and Telus Health, Leadership Meeting/Trainings and Offsites.
- Effectively partners with leaders of various levels to understand their organizational development needs and make recommendations. These recommendations could be learning, facilitation, programs, etc.
- Designs and conducts organizational assessments (surveys, focus groups, and diagnostics) to gauge change resilience, resistance, and the effectiveness of programs.
- Independently designs leadership presentations for varying levels of leadership. Presents to leadership when necessary.
- In partnership with other members of the OD and Learning Team, helps to facilitate learning sessions where needed (specifically learning sessions related to organization wide programs or leadership).
- In partnership with the SR. Instructional Designer, develops and authors leadership programs related to emotional quotient, leadership basics etc.
- In partnership with internal communications, write, author, and roll out enterprise-wide communications that support OD related projects.
- In partnership with the Director, OD and the VP, HR – develop, support, train, and launch competency frameworks that connect with organizational goals.
- Partners directly with leaders to provide coaching and advisory support to leaders on team effectiveness, change leadership, and organizational challenges.
- In partnership with the internal communications specialist – drafts organizational comms related to human resources/people programs. Ensures they are rolled out.
Required Skills

Post secondary education or equivalent in HR, Business, Organizational Development.
- At least 5-7 years of experience in organizational development experience, ideally in complex or multi-union environments leading large (enterprise wide) projects.
- A CHRP/CHRL designation.
- A background in Change Management (PROSCI) or Project Management (PMP) would be considered a strong asset.
- Demonstrated experience leading change initiatives and organizational transformation projects.
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience with organizational diagnostics, survey tools, and data analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to influence and partner with leaders at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems; experience with engagement or analytics platforms is an asset.

This role is hybrid (flexible) in Stoney Creek, ON. Details will be discussed during interview.

Salary Range: $81,110 to $111,527 annually.
Compensation for this role reflects a combination of skills, experience, and internal equity. Those whose experience more closely aligns the role's requirements may be placed higher within the salary range.
