What You'll Do
As our full-time Daytime Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of common areas throughout our commercial properties. Your work helps ensure a professional, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone in the buildings.
As our part-time Evening Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of tenant spaces as well as some common areas.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize lobbies, hallways, washrooms, elevators, and other common areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain all floor surfaces
- Dust, wipe, and polish fixtures, furniture, and high-touch surfaces
- Empty garbage and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly
- Restock washroom and janitorial supplies as needed
- Monitor building cleanliness throughout the shift
- Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or repairs to management
- Follow company cleaning procedures and health and safety standards
What We're Looking For
- Previous commercial cleaning experience is an asset but not required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks efficiently
- Physically able to perform cleaning duties, including walking, bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- Good communication skills in English
- Valid driver's licence is considered an asset
