Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and empathetic Patient Communication Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for calling patients to schedule appointments, providing exceptional customer service, and handling additional administrative tasks as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make outbound calls to patients to schedule, confirm, or reschedule appointments.
- Respond to incoming patient inquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and appointment schedules.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
- Perform various administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and document management.
- Assist with the preparation of reports and other documents as required.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and privacy policies.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in using office software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Empathy and patience when dealing with patients and their families.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position with regular office hours.
- Office environment with standard office equipment.
