POSITION SUMMARY
The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for selling new agricultural and equipment to existing customers across Ontario, and for developing new business within an assigned Ontario territory.
You will be responsible for a territory covering mainly southwest Ontario, with constant travel required throughout the region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Meet sales targets set by the company
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers, selling Univerco's full line of agricultural equipment
- Prospect and develop new customer relationships within the territory
- Act as a customer service contact, following up with clients to resolve issues related to billing, products, or service
- Prepare and present quotes, and recommend products or services based on customer needs
- Prepare and submit call reports and monthly sales reports as required
- Create and regularly maintain sales activity in the CRM
- Maintain adequate visibility and coverage across the assigned territory, and report on this as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Experience
- Post-secondary education or equivalent, or 1 to 3 years of experience selling equipment
- Experience in agricultural or equipment sales is an asset
Skills & Abilities
- Demonstrated sales ability
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal in english.
- Strong negotiating skills
- Ability to build rapport with customers, present information, and respond effectively to questions
- Ability to solve practical problems and weigh multiple variables
- Strong organizational skills for ongoing communication, follow-up, and account management
- Ability to propose creative solutions to meet the unique needs of customers and of Univerco
- Ability to build and maintain territory activity through multiple channels — phone calls, email, and mailed materials — while setting short- and long-term growth targets
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and customer staff, from ownership to front-line personnel
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role requires daily travel to customer sites; candidates must hold a valid driver's licence.

Pay: $60,000.00-$180,000.00 per year
