About the Role:
We are seeking a full-time Product Manager to join our growing products team.
Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Products, you will support the development and ongoing management of products across SatCom/IoT, Environment, and Defence.
Working closely with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Operations, customers, and partners, you will help keep projects moving forward, maintain alignment across teams, and ensure product information is clear, organized, and actionable. You will support day-to-day product activities and help translate technical requirements into useful documentation and product direction.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, technically curious, and interested in supporting products that operate in demanding, real-world environments where reliability matters.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Product Coordination: Track timelines, milestones, and deliverables while aligning teams across Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Operations. Support product launches, lifecycle activities, and product roadmaps.
- Technical Documentation: Create, update, and maintain user guides, product materials, release notes, requirements, and internal knowledge content, translating technical details into clear and useful documentation.
- Administrative Support: Coordinate meeting notes, action items, Jira tasks, and reporting while maintaining organized records and visibility using Microsoft 365 tools.
- Cross-Functional Support: Help ensure product information is shared accurately across teams while supporting customer feedback, operational requirements, and product-related inquiries.
- Research & Analysis: Conduct market, competitor, and customer research to support product requirements and better understand evolving needs across key markets.
- Perform other tasks as required.
Technical and Non-Technical Skills:
- Strong technical writing and documentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to quality, organization, and accuracy.
- Advanced communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams and technical audiences.
- Practical, solutions-oriented mindset with persistent follow-through and accountability.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative technical environment.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn, particularly within satellite communications, IoT, environmental, and defence-related technologies.
Education and Experience:
- Technical degree, military technical training, or equivalent practical experience in communication telematics, defence systems, environmental technologies, or a related field.
- 1 - 3 years of experience in product support, technical coordination, project coordination, defence technology, military systems support, or a similar role.
- Navy, Coast Guard, military, or defence operational experience - or experience working with defence-related customers, technologies, or environments - is strongly preferred.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and coordinating across cross-functional teams.
- Experience with technical writing, product documentation, or requirements management is strongly preferred.
- Exposure to hardware, IoT, satellite communications, telemetry systems, or defence technologies is an asset.
- Familiarity with product development or lifecycle processes is an asset.
- Understanding of satellite communications or the Iridium ecosystem is an asset.
