This Position is full time.
Duties
- Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens from patients
- Prepare and label specimens for laboratory testing
- Follow proper procedures for specimen handling and transportation
- Verify patient information and maintain accurate records
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during the phlebotomy process
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
- Assist with other laboratory duties as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program
- Current certification as a phlebotomist (e.g., CPT, PBT)
- Knowledge of laboratory techniques and procedures
- Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in specimen collection and labeling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Skills:
- Knowledge of clinical laboratory operations.
- Experience with vital signs measurement.
Pay: $21.00 per hour
