Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, colors, and treatments tailored to clients' needs.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their desired looks and provide professional advice.
- Upsell additional services and retail products that enhance the client's experience and maintain their hair health.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, equipment, and workstations in accordance with industry standards.
- Assist at the front desk as needed, managing appointments and providing excellent customer service.
- Build lasting relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Experience
- Proven experience in hair styling or completion of a cosmetology program is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to upsell services and retail products while providing exceptional customer service.
- Experience in front desk operations is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices in the beauty industry is essential.
