We are seeking a dedicated Banquet Cook to join our team in Simply Elegant, this role is vital in preparing and cooking high-quality meals for our banquet events, ensuring every guest experiences excellence that aligns with our company's values.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes for banquet events according to menu specifications.
- Ensure all food is prepared safely and in compliance with food safety standards.
- Collaborate with event planners and catering staff to meet client expectations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Assist in menu planning and ingredient sourcing when needed.
- Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation.
- Support team members in achieving efficient kitchen operations.
- Capable of making deliveries and services on its own.
- Qualifications
- You must have a class 5 Alberta driver's license
- Proven experience as a cook in a banquet or large-scale catering environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy events.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to different menu requirements.
Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
