As a Mixer, you are responsible for the production of industrial products. They use a variety of equipment to combine raw materials into finished goods, which they then package and ship out to customers. Mixer/Blenders need to know how to properly operate all of the equipment used in the blending process, as well as how each piece of equipment works and how it interacts with other pieces of equipment. Below are your detailed duties:
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Operating an automated blending system to mix ingredients according to a recipe.
· Monitoring machinery to ensure that it is operating properly.
· Completing paperwork detailing the ingredients used in each blend, as well as its taste, texture, and other characteristics.
· Observing machinery operation to identify potential problems that may require repair.
· Mixing ingredients together using machinery such blenders, mixers, or other equipment used in the food industry.
· Cleaning equipment between uses to maintain sanitation standards in the workplace.
· Mixing ingredients using hands or other manual tools to prepare blends or products for consumption.
· Preparing ingredients for blending according to standard recipes, mixing them together using machinery such as blenders or packaging the finished product.
· Maintaining accurate records for each flavor line.
· Assure that the following critical performance criteria are achieved in the mixing and syrup area.
Quality Control for this Position Involves:
· Perform quality control measurements according to an inspection plan that best assures final product quality.
· Coordinating closely with the QA/QC Manager’s to verify product quality so that problems are uncovered early, if required.
· Supporting the QA/ QC Manger’s effort to collect data from mixing.
Skills & Qualification Required:
· High School Education or equivalent.
· 2 years of previous experience working in a production environment and/or mixing role.
· Experience in software programs for recording data.
· Highly reliable, a team player with good people skills.
· Strong communication skills.
· Ability to stand for 8 hours.
· Ability to work with Microsoft Platform (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Able to lift up to 23 kg and perform repetitive tasks as well as rotate task to meet production demands.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
